We have three churches that have served as Red Cross shelters during the Katrina crisis.

We have potential access to a tool trailer, now in development, at First Baptist Church, Gatlinburg, available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Several churches have disaster response teams, most of them connected with either CBF or SBC disaster response.

Potential sites for Recovery Operations Centers include the Tennessee CBF office, First Baptist Church, Knoxville, Central Baptist Church, Bearden, First Baptist Church, Murphreesboro, and Kings Cross Church, Tullahoma.

We have several churches that would seek to be mobilized through CBF channels first.

Our disaster response organization is still being developed.
