Disaster Response
Florida Equipment

Two 6’ x 12’ utility trailers, similarly equipped with one generator, several chain saws,
personal safety equipment, tarps, cap nails, gasoline containers, blow-up mattresses,
rakes, shovels, 10’ x 10’ canopy tent, 2 folding chairs, 1 folding table, replacement chains
for saws, oil, bar chain oil, etc. (a full inventory of each is in the works and will follow
when complete.)

One Communication Trailer is available for our (CBFF and/or CBF) use in Tallahassee.
It is being updated but has usable radios and an older satellite phone, as well as other items.

One partially completed Shower Trailer in Tampa, Florida. Bayshore Baptist Church had
purchased a trailer in order to retro-fit it to be a Shower Trailer. Last word was it was only
partially complete.

South Venice Baptist Church, Venice, has a team ready to go and offer child-care at an ROC,
particularly thinking of community families needing to have a secure and safe location for the
small children while the parents and older children and teens clean-up debris and get house
re-inhabitable.

One trailer is located at the CBF of Florida office in Lakeland, Florida (Central Florida).
The other is located at
Bluewater Baptist Church, Niceville (Panhandle).

Communication Trailer is owned and available through First Baptist Church Tallahassee.

Any vehicle capable of towing 2500 lbs. trailer and contents like a pick-up truck or SUV can
handle our trailers.  Currently, only one volunteer is known for the
Lakeland trailer, but he will
be in
North Carolina for the summer.  Will be checking with U-haul who now rents pick-ups with
towing capacity to see if one of these could be rented as needed.

Response Trailer in Lakeland also has ID Badge maker, and four walkie-talkies.
